Kids' Weekend Meals

The Kids' Weekend Meals program serves approximately 200 children each weekend, ensuring they have enough food to last until school meals resume. Each child receives a bookbag filled with nutritious food items, along with simple recipes to help them prepare meals and learn basic cooking skills.

Support for Seniors

The need for food assistance among seniors has risen by 100%, highlighting the growing demand for support to community members most in need. The Fill a Bag, Feed a Family program is working to meet these increasing needs by providing essential food items and resources to seniors and families in the Aurora and Mantua communities.

Nutritional Education

In addition to supporting children and seniors, the program provides families with recipes to make complete, healthy meals using donated food. This ensures the donations go even further in meeting the nutritional needs of recipients.

As food shortages reach a 20-year high, with local pantries needing to double their supply by 2025, LayerZero's contribution comes at a critical time to help meet the growing needs of the community.

How the Community Can Help

The program features two significant community events:

• April 26, 2025 - Volunteers deliver empty food bags to neighborhood homes. Add to Calendar
