LayerZero Power Systems Announces Series 70: eRPP-FS Remote Power Panel
Aurora, Ohio (April 7, 2014) LayerZero has officially announced the release of the Series 70: eRPP-FS. The eRPP-FS is a new design that sets a higher standard in operator safety, featuring no exposed bus and a completely finger-safe design. The eRPP-FS requires front and side access, with the option for circuit breakers to be installed on either the left or right side. There are two 42-circuit panel boards on the eRPP-FS. The eRPP-FS is designed with an emphasis on maximizing power reliability, increasing operator safety, utilizing open connectivity, with advanced power quality monitoring capabilities.
The eRPP-FS is selective trip coordinated, guaranteeing that if a branch circuit breaker trips, the main breaker will not be affected. All panel boards are finger-safe, requiring IP-20 PPE. A 7" touch-screen display allows for local configuration and viewing of real-time waveforms for every pole of every circuit breaker. Polycarbonate windows permit visibility of circuit breaker positions with the doors closed. Panel designations can be named wireless using Bluetooth.
