Field Service Scheduling Tool Launched On CustomerWeb

Chagrin Falls, Ohio (April 19, 2005)  LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. releases a Field Service Scheduling Tool for its CustomerWeb online portal, allowing for customer scheduling to be more effectively optimized to fit specific customer needs.  The interface distributes the workload in a manner that allows for more flexibility and faster response by empowering customers to schedule a service request at any time.  In addition, the interface makes available resources and skill-sets fully transparent, so customers can more effectively plan maintenance requests. 

The field service scheduling portal keeps a record of all scheduling operations, available parts, service logs, and service notes.  The automated process provides structured and detailed process documentation, making use of data exchange technologies to integrate service notes with customer logs.  The tool is expected to increase the customer service by making service histories easily accessible to field service engineers and end-users.
