LayerZero Announces UL Approval: 800 A, 600 V Optical Power Transfer Switch Listed to UL 1008 & CSA 22.2 No. 107
Chagrin Falls, Ohio - - LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of product safety testing of its 800 A Optical Power Transfer Switch product line. The product was tested to two North American Standards:
- Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) Standard 1008
- Canadian Safety Administration (CSA) Standard CSA 22.2 No. 107
The product was tested by ETL, a division of Intertek, and an OSHA-approved Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). The Listed product line includes LayerZero's Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) as well as Single Module Redundant (SMR) model families of two-source static transfer switches.
The 800 A model, utilizing six draw-out molded case switches, is a High Energy (Type III, fuseless design), convection cooled system designed to operate in an environment with an ambient temperature range of 0 - 50°C.
