Chagrin Falls, Ohio - May 3, 2005 - LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is thrilled to announce the successful completion of Closing and Withstand tests for its 1200 A Optical Power Transfer Switch (OPTS) product line at KEMA-Powertest Labs in Chalfont, PA. The test results confirm the impressive withstand ratings of LayerZero OPTS:

The test results demonstrate that LayerZero's 1200 A OPTS product family meets the criteria of High Energy (Type III) Static Transfer Switches. This enhanced survivability of the power stage under fault conditions provides mission-critical sites with the ability to instantly recover from downstream catastrophic faults or failures without the immediate need for repair to the LayerZero OPTS.
