The Series 70 ePODs™: Type-X is a power distribution unit with a transformer and SafePanel™ distribution.

Designed for usage in applications that require a transformer with a reliable distribution system, the Series 70 ePODs: Type-X allows for safe installation of additional circuit breakers. The Type-X Power Distribution Unit features an NFPA 70E friendly design, an open layout, and IP-20 finger-safe panelboards, to help protect operators and ensure safe operation. With an emphasis on reliability, safety, connectivity, and power quality monitoring, the Series 70 ePODs™: Type-X provides safe and reliable power distribution.

The Series 70 ePODs™: Type-X is designed to be easy to work with, featuring a large interior to minimize risk during installation, ideal for modular environments.

Designed for operations with the critical reliability requirements, the Series 70 ePODs™: Type-X provides power distribution for a variety of installations, from 150 – 300kVA to 500kVA. The monitoring functionality of the Type-X provides metering information, and is compatible with most building management software.

The LayerZero ePODs™: Type-X contains advanced technology that is exclusive is LayerZero Power Systems, such as InSight™ Portholes for safe IR thermal scanning, black box forensics, and machined hardware for the highest reliability.
