LayerZero Power Panels
LayerZero Power Systems designs and manufactures Web-Enabled Power Panels (eRPPs) that are designed to provide uninterrupted three-phase electrical power and circuit breaker protection in mission-critical power distribution systems.
Electrical Power Panels (Distribution Panels) distribute electrical power from Power Distribution Units to individual server racks. Power Panels provide selective trip coordination power protection, as well as the ability to safely add additional breakers for adding capacity as power needs grow. Complete remote connectivity functionality is available, including standing Ethernet connections and Bluetooth connectivity for closed-door panel setup.
Electrical Power Panels Purpose
The function of LayerZero Web-Enabled Power Panels is to provide uninterrupted three-phase electrical power and circuit breaker protection in mission-critical power distribution systems. In a typical installation, the PDU (ePODs) output will feed the eRPP input, and the eRPP will directly connect with the server power inputs. Utilizing eRPPs as part of the power distribution layer delivers the benefits of selective trip coordination, ensuring that if a breaker trips, upstream devices will not be affected. In addition, eRPPs help future-proof organizations by allowing for safe installation of growing capacity requirements.

Inspired by NFPA-70E: Finger Safe Electrical Panels
LayerZero Power Panels ensure flexibility by safely permitting the addition of additional circuit breakers to meet growing power demands. eRPPs utilize the LayerZero SafePanel™, a finger-safe panel board that fully encapsulates the circuit breaker connection in a finger-safe recessed well. The SafePanel features an "Arc-Free Zone", which prevents phases from cross-connecting when adding additional circuit breakers.
Series 70 eRPPs and ePanel products feature remotely accessible power quality monitoring capabilities, including real-time waveform capture. If an incident occurs, eRPPs enable the ability to view a picture of the event for analysis. No more guessing what happened, the proof is in the picture.
No more inconsistencies between installed panels and panel designations, LayerZero Power Systems eRPPs, eRDP, and ePanel products all have the capabilities of wirelessly connecting via Bluetooth for panel designations. LayerZero designed the first RPP with Bluetooth connectivity.

LayerZero Web-Enabled Power Panels deliver safe and reliable power distribution with up to 168 selective-trip coordinated branch breakers in a space-saving form factor. Appropriate for row-level distribution, eRPP Power Panels help improve efficiency while delivering uncompromised reliability.
LayerZero eRPPs provide flexible installation options through both top and bottom cable entry. Ethernet connectivity is standard, Bluetooth (Close Door) connectivity is optional. Equipped standard with Waveform Capture and individual Branch Circuit Monitoring functionality, eRPPs enable facilities to proactively manage power both locally and remotely over open protocols.
LayerZero Web-Enabled Panel Boards (ePanels) help provide uninterrupted power to server racks for power distribution systems. LayerZero ePanels deliver safe and reliable power distribution with up to 84 selective-trip coordinated branch breakers in a space-saving wall-mounted form factor.
LayerZero ePanels provide flexible installation options through both top and bottom cable entry. Connectivity options include Ethernet and Bluetooth. Equipped standard with Waveform Capture and Branch Circuit Monitoring functionality, ePanels enable facilities to proactively manage power both locally and remotely over standard Ethernet connections.
